Is it Elswhere or Elsewhere?

It's Elswhere, with no "e" in the middle, and we dropped it on purpose. Most people read our name and never notice the missing e. Shopping works the same way: you see what you expect to see. We look closer, in the places you normally wouldn't. If you're searching for us, type "Elswhere app" or go straight to elswhere.app. There are other companies called Elsewhere, and we're not affiliated with any of them.

How is this different from Instagram, Pinterest, or Google Shopping?

Those platforms show you what's popular near you or what's paid to be there, so everyone sees the same things. Elswhere starts from you: your budget, your style goals, your sizes. Nothing in your picks is an ad, ever.

Where do the pieces come from?

Everywhere, not just the region you live in or the sites with the biggest ad budgets. A pull might include a vintage find, an Etsy seller, an up-and-coming designer, a small business, or a store that's popular in Copenhagen but would never appear in your search results.

Do I buy through Elswhere?

Right now, each pick links directly to the brand's or seller's own site, and you check out there as usual.

Elswhere is the anti-algorithm personal shopper app. We find unique clothing matched to your style and budget and send your picks to your inbox, so you get out of the loop of the same few stores that algorithms show everyone.

How does Elswhere work?

You start with a short survey: your budget, sizes, and style. We source pieces that fit all three and send them to your inbox. Each set of picks is called a pull. With every pull we learn and refine, not just what you like and don't like, but your style goals and what your day-to-day life is like, so your picks keep getting more personal.
